Pueblo School for Arts and Sciences (PSAS) is committed to protecting the privacy of our students, families, and community members. This policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your personal information across our digital platforms.


1. Data Collection & Usage

We collect information to provide a seamless educational experience. Data is gathered either directly from your input or automatically through your interaction with our website.

  • Information You Provide: This includes your name, email, phone number, address, and student-related details provided via contact forms, registrations, or surveys.

  • Automatic Data: We collect “Usage Data” such as IP addresses, browser types, and interaction logs to maintain website security and performance.

  • Cookies: We use cookies to remember your preferences and improve your browsing experience. You can disable cookies in your browser settings, though some website features may stop functioning correctly.

2. Student Data & COPPA Compliance

Protecting the privacy of minors is our highest priority. PSAS complies with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA).

  • We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 without verifiable parental consent.

  • Student records are accessible only to authorized education officials for mandated educational purposes and are protected by stringent security protocols.

Note: PowerSchool operates independently. While we link to the Parent/Student Portals, PSASK12.org does not transmit or receive personal login data from that system.

  • Verify if your data is being stored.

  • Request a copy of your personal information.

  • Ask for corrections, updates, or the deletion of your data.

  • Object to the processing of your data for legitimate reasons.

5. Legal Disclosures & Maintenance

  • Legal Requirements: PSAS may disclose personal data if required by law or in response to valid requests by public authorities.

  • System Logs: For security and maintenance, our servers collect logs of user interactions (including IP addresses).

  • “Do Not Track”: Our website does not currently respond to “Do Not Track” browser requests.

6. Policy Changes

PSAS reserves the right to update this policy at any time. We encourage users to check this page frequently for changes. Continued use of the site after an update constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
