What is Paideia Education?
Paideia Education is a teaching philosophy that focuses on developing the whole child—not just academic knowledge, but also critical thinking, communication skills, character, and a lifelong love of learning.
The word Paideia comes from ancient Greek and means “the education of the complete person.”

With 25 years in education and 15 years as part of the PSAS family, Mrs. Abeyta brings experience, heart, and a genuine passion for helping students succeed. Throughout her career, she's taught Kindergarten, 3rd and 4th grades, and 6th–9th grade Social Studies before stepping into school leadership.![]()
